Video Number Two!

UPDATE! : According to my mole SOMEONE who posted in the comment section is getting really close to next year’s theme! He didn’t say who or how many of you were close but I can say that the concept behind next year’s theme has been mentioned!

Only a few more days until we uncover the truth behind next year’s theme. I can’t wait. I’m sure some of you are getting a bit anxious (I know I am)!

Before we move on to my next video…it’s time to announce the winner of the first “Guess the Theme Contest”!

And that person is….. Marsha Boyd (my mole from Lifeway will email you with information about the prize!)

She commented at 8:09 on 6/8 and said: I am thinking along the lines of High School Musical/Hannah Montana theme. We are in the middle of SRR right now and having a yeehaw good time!

Congratulations! Hope you enjoy the free sampler! Send it to me if you want!

And now…Video Number Two! Keep those guesses coming! There’s another sampler to be given away!

  1. Paula Brown says:

I hear circus music. . . . . as in Big Top. That could be loads of fun. Can’t wait to see for sure what theme we have next.

    • Amanda Markin says:

Hot Air Balloons or a Circus theme would be a lot of fun!! Looking forward to the official announcement so we can start planning!!

Tonight is our fnal night at the Ranch and our cowpokes are having a rootin’ tootin’ good ole time.

    • Larry Montgomery says:

Based on these clues I am hoping that it is a Circus Theme!
LOTS of FUN for the Whole Family!
      PLUS FUN Foods!
      Could also be a Parade??????

    • Tammy Spurling says:

I think we are going to New York to the Big Apple and taking a Hot Air Balloons races or ride. Riding High for Jesus.

    • Anita Sackenheim says:

I haven’t seen any comments about maybe a county FAIR! Not so sure what the money has to do with it, but the + AIR could be like those word puzzles made with the objects/pictures, so COUNT(ing) money + AIR!?!? am I close?

    • Kim G. says:

The boys and I say, bring on the animals and the traipse were going to the Circus.

    • Laurie says:

I think the 2011 theme must have something to do with hot air balloons! It could be a big circus or state fair type of theme, with hot dogs and hot air balloons.

  2. Cindy Marshall says:

Our church will begin Saddle Ridge Ranch on Sunday. We are so excited about the Cowboy theme this year. We have a Conestoga wagon with Clydesdale horses coming on Wednesday to give the kids a ride. Um… Maybe the theme for next year could be Mission..Possible because I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Can’t wait to hear the offiical theme. YAY!!

  3. Vanessa Overton says:

I think it will be a Carnival or Circus. You’ve got a balloon with the word BIG on it, like Big Top! Plus with the hot dog & money, those are things you would find at either place.

  4. Cindy says:

I think that it must be centered around a county fair or a carnival theme. I am getting anxious Donny!

  5. Misty says:

I also think it is a circus theme with carnival games. It would be lots of fun to set up each room with different games. And cotton candy and snow cones for snack. Lots of balloons and streamers.

  6. Beth says:

    G, E, H, L, P in this video to go along with P,B,I,A

    • Beth says:

Minus H. After watching it again I think it’s a picture of something else
      P B I A G E L P
      Big Apple?
      New York?

      • Annica Cook says:

So glad you found some more letters!!! Here are all the clues I’ve figured out so far and some that I’ve seen others post.

The address on the letter Donny received was SINATRA street in FRANKtown. The letter also said “all aboard” at the bottom. There was an apple and a small Empire State Building souvenir on the table. Donny is wearing aviator goggles. He rang a bell and blew a train whistle. He received a balloon with the word “big” on it with confetti and a hot dog with the word air and money.

We are obviously going to NEW YORK, NY. And here’s why: Frank Sinatra sang “New York, New York”. It’s called the “Big Apple”, has tons of Hot Dog Vendors. It’s known for it’s Ticker Tape Parades (Confetti). The New York Stock Exchange on Wall Street is the money and the ringing of the bell. Donny is wearing aviator goggles and “Viator” tours is the group that runs the observatory at the Empire State Building. Grand Central Station is in NYC thus the “All Aboard” and train whistle. And the “big balloons” with hot air could be the balloons in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!

In the first video when Donny does the “Everybody loves…” thing he holds up an apple and mentions taxi drivers and lawyers. New York is full of taxi drivers and lawyers.Gotta be NYC!

Even’s Donny’s blog is called: The I ♥ VBS Blog. As in I ♥ NY!

      • Cyndi Rogers says:

Annica Cook?! Are you the mole inside Lifeway? :)
I remember your name from one of my son’s Adventure magazines – because we talked about it being a unique name.

      • Annica Cook says:

        @ Cyndi Rogers,

Nope, I’m not the mole. I just love VBS and solving mysteries.

Thanks for reading Adventure! I wrote a couple of issues. It was fun writing. I can’t believe you bothered to note the writers name! I hope you and your son enjoyed the magazine.

      • Sarah says:

I like the idea of a new york theme!!!!!!

      • Randy Maddox says:

the big hot dog paid parade

    • Cindy says:

I think it has something to do with New York and Broadway

      • Annica Cook says:

Yeah, those white lights hanging up are probably the “Bright Lights” of Broadway and Times Square.

So we have the Empire State Building, Broadway and Times Square, Grand Central Station, Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange. What could the other sites and rotation locations be?

      • April says:

Don’t for there is always Central Park, Coney Island where they have the Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest every 4th of July

  7. Amanda S says:

Around the World in a Hot Air Balloon stopping at random County Fairs along the way for a hotdog.

Hot Air Balloon Hotdog Adventure…sounds promising to me :)

  8. Susie Bibb says:

Hot air balloon…. I’m thinking Fair for sure.. Sounds fun so far! :)

  9. GLENDA says:

Must agree this is starting to have that carnivel feel.???

  10. Tonya Ruble says:

Sounds much like a fair to me with carnival games… What FUN!!

  11. Cyndi says:

I am thinking Hot Air Balloons at the County Fair!!

  12. Stephanie Snow says:

I think it may something like coney island where there is balloons and hotdogs and where you could make like a little roller coaster out of cardboard boxes so the kids could ride during missions/

  13. I wonder if the photos that were posted on the lifeway blog give any hints…. one had a shelf with VBS themed items on it, but there was also a pic of Jim and Kermit. Another picture had a robot in the background and a drawing of a muscle man or a superhero on the whiteboard. None of these go with the big money hot air balloon hot dog, thing, though, which does have a carnival theme. I still think there is an entertainment theme of sorts to this, though.

    • Annica Cook says:

Yes, there are clues in the photos.

In the first photo there is a framed portrait of Jim Henson and Kermit. Jim Henson lived in NYC and was a major contributor to Sesame Street which is set in NYC. Plus there is an apple on her desk, as in “The Big Apple”.
In the second photo there is what looks like a small book or DVD cover that has a picture of a taxi cab on the cover laying on a stack of papers.
In the third photo there is small souvenir sculpture of the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building on the top shelf.
      NYC here we come!

  14. Mandy says:

It’s sounding like a carnival/Coney Island theme to me… But hot dogs are also a big thing in NY… and “BIG” Apple… Hmmmm, can’t wait for the next clue!! :)

  15. Barbara Gooch says:

At first, I was thinking concert. But now the kids and I are thinking Circus also. We enjoy watching your videos and make it so much fun!!!

  16. nancy barnett says:

maybe a parade, like macy’s thansgiving day parade? confetti, big balloons, hot dog vendors. . . i can’t figure out the money, though.

  17. I am having too much fun looking at all these clues, reading the blogs, watching the videos, etc. – I feel like I am having a VBS adventure all on of my own! Thanks LifeWay for making the ‘reveal’ so much fun! Whatever it is I am sure it is going to be GREAT!

  18. Connie Lancaster says:

I think it will be a county fair type with lots of fun rides and events!

  19. Joyce Johnson says:

I was thinking on the lines of Fourth of July or amusment park theme..

  20. Sabrina Sentell says:

I think it might be a parade/party type theme. The confetti and the balloon make me think of the Macy’s parade.

  21. Tina says:

Please don’t say it is a circus theme…I hate clowns!

  22. Naomi Andrs says:

After reading everyones posts, watching the videos several more times, looking at the pictures that were on the Lifeway site, I would have to guess – New York, Big Apple.
I am so excited about this years VBS. One month and 1 day until Saddle Ridge Ranch for Lake Point Church!

  23. Carolina says:

We are loving the saddle ridge!! Everybody is so excited. We are getting ready for next month.
Vbs I am thinking it could be like a rock n roll 50′s Carnival. Lots of music, fun, ballons, food..
I can’t wait to see what it is. :)

  24. Melissa Breaux says:

I am thinking that it is a state fair – probably New York State fair?

  25. Cyndi Rogers says:

Since our last visit to the circus, my children and I have been hoping for a circus theme with the church as the big tent and our Lord, the ringmaster in charge. We are still hopeful that Lifeway will go this route in the future, but for 2011 we are now leaning more toward a hot air balloon tour with a stop in the Big Apple! Either way, we know it will be fabulous!

  26. Paige Crittendon says:

I believe it will be NYC!!! I would love to know soon – since I’m traveling to NYC this summer…. That would be an exciting, fast paced theme….

  27. kathy jackson says:

My 10 year old and I think it’s got to do with hot air ballons, so a high flying adventure with Christ maybe. This is FUN!

  28. Ginger says:

I think it is going to be New York, It will be great to tie New York in with VBS, a lot of kids have never been to New York and may never get to go there. I love the clues Donnie. Our VBS starts Sunday Saddle Ridge Ranch.

  29. Jennifer says:

I am thinking aCircus or Carnival theme. How fun will that be!

    Our VBS starts tomorrow!

  30. Greg Hagan says:

I’m leaning towards the NYC theme. I get the letters that he had around the room spelling out BIG APPLE, the street vendors (hot dog), the parades (confetti), the money (wall street) and the balloon could be both the balloons at the parades or blown up, the (BIG) APPLE. The winner of the first clue guess said “High School Musical/Hannah Montana” so maybe the emphasis is Broadway. That could be fun. Saddle Ridge Ranch was a BLAST!!

  31. Becky P says:

Just going with the letters from the first video, PBAI, it could be Big Apple. Parade in Big Apple? I saw the Empire State building figure on the table so it does seem to lean towards New York. I could definitely see a Coney Island amusement park theme. Any of these themes would be lots of fun! We have two weeks to go until Saddle Ridge Ranch!!!

  32. Debbie Young says:

I’ve changed my mind! I think Annica’s right on track with the Big Apple theme. I think we’re going to New York City next year for VBS! Can’t wait!!

  33. Greg Hagan says:

After watching the video again and again, certain items appear on the desk with Donny. On the left he starts with a model of the Empire State Building. Then a Big Red Apple is sitting there. Then a statue of the Thinker from the museam. It Has to be NYC. Everything fits.

  34. Kim Pineda says:

Sounds like a great time under the big top at the circus. Great theme. We’ll be looking forward to it.

  35. When I saw the first clue I thought Air Show Adventure…Soaring to new heights with Jesus.

But… two items in the room were not LifeWay products–a vintage Apple iMac and some sort of box with the number three on it which I was unable to identify. The Lifeway letter gave an interesting address of Franktown, TN. The zip actually belongs to Franklin, Tenn.

My guess is Big Apple Commission: Start Spreading the News. Clues I used to arrive at this: the bubble-style iMac was APPLE Computers’ big comeback, confetti (ticker tape parade), hot dogs + air!–street vendors, box of fake $50 bills–Wall Street, letters in two videos spell Big Apple.

Another idea: Ticker Tape Parade: Celebrating Heroes of the Faith. Clues: box full of confetti, prominent position of Game Day Central banner and part of the song “where heroes are made” in first video.

  36. Connie says:

I am thinking about a circus theme. with the big ballons and the hot dogs. Our VBS starts next week. Can’r wait I am teaching the 3 & 4 grades. WOW Good Times…

  37. Raye Ann says:

The location has to be the BIG APPLE! The letters in the background have been PBIA GELP. When you unscramble them. It’s Big Apple. Big is on the balloon and there is an apple on the desk. You can take Balloon Tours and go on cruises and eat hotdogs in the Big Apple maybe those will be the little locations within the Big.

  38. Cathy Grasser says:

New York, is a melting pot of people, what better place to teach missions and a world view for our kids–whatever the theme, I am excited for VBS 2011!

  39. Amanda says:

I was thinking carnival, but the NYCity people have me thinking now…

  40. Donna F. says:

I am thinking New York! My 13 year old daughter says it has to be circus! Whatever the theme is we always LOVE VBS! :) Thanks for doing this blog/videos. It is so much fun.

  41. Bev says:

I think we’re going to the Big Apple, New York City! Along with Ellis Island, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Bldg, coney dogs, carriage rides through Central Park and Broadway music and shows, maybe you can sing the kids to sleep with the Lullaby on Broadway. Whatever you do will be fun for all, enjoy!!
    Bev, O’Fallon, MO

  42. Brittany says:

You know with the whole economy bust in the past few years maybe it has something to do with the stock exchange, money, Big Apple, Empire State building. Bringing laughter and fun during the hard times….hot dogs, balloons, confetti & fun. I think some of you are onto something!!

    • Brittany says:

Actually it could be like a metro ride tour to 5 sites throughout the week. “All aboard”. Each night the kids will visit a new attraction. Carnival/Circus, Broadway Show, Central Park…..Can’t really think of anymore.

  43. Annica Cook says:

“All aboard” doesn’t have to just be a clue to Grand Central Station. It could also be referring to the Staten Island Ferry!

  44. Lorie Criscoe says:

    Praising in the Streets!

  45. I’m thinking World’s Fair. Of course I’m from Seattle and love the Space Needle and all other remnants of the ’63 Fair. But that is super compelling evidence for New York, NY as a theme. But since Saddle Ridge Ranch is North American, next years theme should be International, unless Lifeway is breaking with 2 decades of tradition.

    • Annica Cook says:

There really isn’t a pattern. Out of the last 14 years only 5 VBSs have been set in continents other than North America. And 4 of those 5 were in consecutive years.

1997 – The Wild and Wonderful Good News Stampede: Telling Others about Jesus
      1998 – StarQuest – A Galactic Good News Adventure
1999 – Mt. Extreme: The Ultimate Good News Challenge
2000 – The Fantastic Good News Ocean Odyssey: Diving into the Depths of God’s Faithfulness
2001 – Truth Trackers and the Secret of the Stone Tablets
2002 – Amazon Outfitters: On Expedition With the One True God
2003 – The Great Kingdom Caper: Cracking the Character Code
2004 – Far-Out Far East Rickshaw Rally: Racing to the Son
2005 – Ramblin’ Road Trip – Which Way Do I Go?
      Club VBS: Beach Blast
2006 – Arctic Edge: Where Adventure Meets Courage
      Club VBS: SpaceQuest
2007 – Game Day Central: Where Heroes are Made
      Club VBS: Jungle Jaunt
2008 – Outrigger Island: Living God’s Unshakeable Truth
      Club VBS: Cactus Canyon
2009 – Boomerang Express: It All Comes Back to Jesus
      Club VBS: Truth Trek
2010 – Saddle Ridge Ranch: Roundin’ Up Questions, Drivin’ Home Answers
      Club VBS: Route 254

  46. MMm…right now we are set to start our Saddle Ridge Ranch VBS and we’re having so much fun! Maybe next year the theme will be something with aviation….or US cities…flying from New York, to Chicago, to Dallas…that would be fun!

  47. Pam Reigle says:

    New York is my guess!

  48. Tammy Spurling says:

We are thinking New york but They have the Big Parades with Hot air Balloons it also with the Confetti and it takes money.

  49. Kathy says:

I really thought it was a Circus/Carnival theme, but I think the New York people have it. The 8 letters(P B I A & G E L P) in the 2 videos spell “Big Apple” and the address on the letter is 230 Sinatra Street and ‘Franktown’ instead of Franklin, TN. The mole, who sent the letter, is inside Lifeway, but Lifeway headquarters are in Nashville. Empire State Building and Apple on desk. New York….it’s my kind of town.

  50. Trista Clark says:

I am seeing clowns and acrobats and circus tents….OH MY! How fun would the Big Top be?! Donny, LOVE the goggles on your forehead! Although they are kinda throwing me off the circus theme and a little toward the hot air balloon theme. No matter what the theme will be, I know LifeWay will make it absolutely incredible. We start Saddle Ridge Ranch in a little over a week and I can’t wait to see how God will use it to draw kids close to Him! Thanks for such great tools LifeWay!!

  51. Debbie Willbanks says:

It’s gotta be New York City! Big balloons remind me of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade. Coney Island is synonymous for its hot dogs and carnival. Ticker tape/confetti parades in Times Square, money……yep….gotta be New York City!

  52. Lisa Wilder says:

I think New York could very well be the theme…The last clue that was recognized mentioned High School Musical/Hannah Montana… this really changes my initial thought. Could it be some type of vintage Broadway/Super hero?? My initial thought was a “Hot” “AIR” theme since the “hot”dog and balloons were mentioned. Kinda like a Willy Wonka theme… very RETRO! The song that is played is very upbeat and retro sounding! Can’t wait! We just finished our Saddle Ridge Ranch for the year and are waiting with swaetry palms for the 2011 theme!! :)

    • Lenora says:

The suggestions of High School Musical/Hannah Montana had me thinking of the musical Grease and the scene at the end with the carnival/fair. The other comments about New York then had me thinking of the New York State Fair … then googled that, and the clues seemed to tie in. Will be interesting to see what it will be …. :D

  53. Sonya says:

Sounds like a carnival or Big Top Circus theme to me. We just finished Saddle Ridge Ranch and had a blast!!!!

  54. Lisa Wilder says:

OOPS!! We are waiting with sweaty palms…:)

  55. Julie says:

Okay, my guess is Big Apple Balloon Adventure….a hot air balloon ride around the New York boroughs! :)

  56. Julie says:

Okay….I’m going for it….Big Apple Balloon Adventures, opening our eyes to the world in our own backyards…a hotair balloon ride visiting the boroughs of New York City! Hope I win that sampler!

  57. Deanna says:

I think all of those that mentioned VBS set in New York may be on to something; however, I would really enjoy a carnival theme. I can already see the decoration and booths set up. It would be so quick and easy!

  58. Jules says:

We are guessing it’s a carnival theme. Yippee! Hope there are carnival games to play like knock down the pins and ring toss. I am interested in hearing the music for this one.

  59. Kristin S. says:

Hmm the New York people might be onto something. I’m hoping it’s fair/carnival though!

  60. Hope Stone says:

I think it will be a country fair or circus theme…I can’t wait!

  61. Missie says:

county fair theme……..hot dogs, balloon rides, money for tickets to win prizes……with the ultimate prize being Jesus~!~~~~

  62. Tabitha Rogers says:

It certainly seems like a Hot Air Balloon theme to me. I can’t imagine how to work that as a VBS theme though! Whatever Lifeway does, I’m sure it will be wonderful though! I am very sad today because I had to miss the last day of our VBS due to one of my kids being sick! This is going to make me look forward to next year just that much more!!

  63. Cindy Cox says:

I’m thinking State/world fair in New York City.

  64. Lenora says:

The suggestions of High School Musical/Hannah Montana had me thinking of the musical Grease and the scene at the end with the carnival/fair. The other comments about New York then had me thinking of the New York State Fair … then googled that, and the clues seemed to tie in. Will be interesting to see what it will be …. :D

  65. Susan Tung says:

We just finished Saddle Ridge Ranch last night. The kids had a BLAST!!! Can’t wait for next year! Hmmm…from the clues and High School Musical/Hannah Montana…I’m guessing something to do with high school football game, Good Year Blimp, Super bowl, tailgate party?

  66. Amanda Friesen says:

How about “Coney Island Carnival”? the kids could learn about the history of the Island’s discovery by Henry Hudson to “Dreamland”–the invention of the first rollercoaster– to boardwalk. This theme could be developed into the joy of walking with the Lord.

  67. Frank Rueckert says:

How about “I Love a Parade”? Sure looks like a lot of things point to one. Of course, there is Coney Island with its hot dogs. It may really come down to some type of tour of New York taking in lots of sights. Our VBS isn’t until July and we’re excited about the Ranch theme. Can’t wait to find out the theme for 2011.

  68. Frank Rueckert says:

How about “I Love a Parade”? Sure looks like a lot of things point to one. Of course, there is Coney Island with its hot dogs. I GAVE THE WRONG E-MAIL ADDRESS ON THE EARLIER POST!!!!

  69. Shallain says:

I am thinking circus **Under the Big Top** sounds like fun….only, clowns can be a bit creepy to me! Either way, I think Lifeway can pull it off…

  70. Angela Huff says:

I think it has to do with Hot Air Balloons and/or Carnivals. We are having our Saddle Ridge Ranch Family Fun day tomorrow! Can’t wait

  71. Sheila Clark says:

    It’s a carnival!

  72. JackieV says:

Hmmmm, I’d personally prefer the carnival/circus theme….but I have to agree, the clues do seem to point more towards New York.

  73. Donnamy Steele says:

Kids love outer space, right???? I like the idea of “Rocketship to the moon” or “Milky Way Express” for a theme! I’m also a kid myself, and I think that exploring the facts and ways of God’s planets would be awesome!!

    Or

We could do VBS based on the 6 days that God created our solar system, friends, animals, and Earth!!

You might not like my ideas, but, after all, I am a kid..

    ~Donnamy

  74. Amanda Duncan says:

I’m thinking the State Fair, for sure! Hot dogs, balloons…fun!

  75. Laura Trimble says:

I think it’s a carnival or circus theme. Or a birthday party for Jesus.

  76. Denice says:

I love the circus idea… but after reading some of these comments, I think I have to agree that it is New York City! Can’t wait to find out! :)

  77. I’m trying again since my post from Wed. night was removed for some reason. My previous guess was a beach party, but with the new clues, I’m guessing maybe a carnival theme. (I’ve added my last name & our church website this time so that perhaps this post will be kept.)

  78. Wanda Bell says:

    I think it’s a Circus theme!

  79. Jennifer Schmid says:

I really think it is a county fair theme or an amusement park. We are getting ready for Saddle Ridge Ranch in July but can’t wait to hear what 2011 is going to be.

  80. Elaine Moody says:

I have to go with the BIG APPLE ..New York City for the theme….
UP! UP! and AWAY! … Seeking God’s Truth in All Things!

  81. millie says:

Hot Dogs, Big Balloons and Money ~~~Coney Island???

  82. Jan Stinson says:

I think the VBS theme for 2011 is The Big County Fair!!

    • Kim Boothe says:

I have to say that SRR has been my fave VBS so far, right down to the t-shirts! But, if next year’s is a County Fair theme, I am for it all the way. Btw, Jeff Slaughter is awesome!

  83. VBS Believer says:

I completely missed the fact that there ws an opportunity to guess the theme and win a sampler! Sitting here in upstate NY, it seems apparent that we are not going far for VBS this year. Okay, it’s obvious that although there are quite a few tennis clubs in NYC, you were holding a ball and bat, like the famous NYY. Macy’s parade, Riker’s Island, street venders, world financial center, the ruckas of Times Square on New Year’s Eve, the butterfly exhibit at the Bronx Zoo. It’s the Big Apple: you can find all kinds of things and stuff! Don’t despair, all you guessers who favor a circus: the Big Apple Circus is a small travelling circus from NYC, with very talented performers.
Donny, you may not know how many clues you put in that first video! Are you aware that a rare blue-eyed koala has been born at Dreamworld in Australia? He has been named Frank in honor of ol’ blue eyes, himself!
(I was kind of hoping for a spiedie in the second box, instead of a hot dog: then you all could come to annual Spiedie Fest and Balloon Rally in Binghamton, NY.)

  84. Eve Carroll says:

I think it’s definetly hot air balloons.

  85. Tim Thompson says:

Gotta feeling it’s a Boardwalk at the beach theme.

  86. Stewart Tung says:

My Guess is a Big Apple Scavenger Hunt (New York): Capturing Clues about Christ

  87. April S says:

    Is it a carnival theme??

  88. Laurie M says:

I am leaning towards the carnival big top theme. That is mainly because the idea of glorifying the big city instead of God’s creation rather horrifies me. These kids have had plenty of commercialism thrown at them. They don’t need anymore. We just finished Saddle Ridge Ranch and I think it was great. It also emphasized nature and the the fact that the glitzy consumerism of things like Hannah Montana and the Big Apple aren’t really what it is all about. I am afraid that an emphasis on a city, musical, or a Broadway type theme encourages kids to stay on the path they are already on.

    • Becca S says:

      Laurie,
While I agree that an emphasis on the commercialization of New York would be bad to teach children, I also believe that you have to reach kids where they are… that is, a nation so based on commercialism that they do not realize they are missing Christ in their lives.

I was also thinking, in some years past, Lifeway’s VBS theme kinda reflected a theme of something going on in the world. If this is a New York theme. 2011 is 10 years from 2001. Might be some kind of tribute to highlight New York since it’s the 10 year anniversary of 9-11. Who knows, But i’m ready for tomorrow to find out the new theme!

  133. yvonne anderson says:

I still like the circus theme then you can have clowns and all knds of animals Food would be easy Hot dogs, hamburgers, Pop corn , and all children love a circus

  134. Rita Wiggs says:

I think it’s New York. Everything points to that. I don’t quite understand where the circus theme ties in? I don’t get the feeling of circus at all. I think if it were circus, there would be animals somewhere, but who knows! Lifeway likes to keep us all guessing!!! Our VBS started tonight. Pray for many salvations because after all, that is what it’s ALL about :)

  135. Cecelia Miller says:

I am thinking Carnival theme. You need money for a carnival to buy hot dogs and balloons ! Yep Carnival theme. Bring on the cotton candy !

  136. Cecelia Miller says:

Hold on…… I must change my guess due to my Lifeway sources FB page. I think it is a New York theme as well. My husband just said Coney Island ! hmmmmmmmmmmm

  137. Alesha says:

Maybe Coney Island? Since a lot of people are thinking big apple. Coney Island would fit with the hot dog and the balloon.
